Oh yes, Danny Hesse and Dawn Richardson recorded the music on their songs, too...

And I think Buggs Manocchi recorded parts of “Iron Brain.” He certainly sings on it, along with Gregg & Erin & Jackie & Danny. He generously loaned us his 1/4-inch-reel 8-track Fostex recorder which was used throughout the project.

Voice recording occured amidst blankets hung from the low low ceiling in Erin’s illegal Echo Park-area basement flat. Later we added the “Tarzana Community Theater” scene at Sylvia’s Diner in Oakland.

Also plus Paul Sidore and Monique Boyd just happened to be getting married around this time, so the Sheep in the crowd generously provided sound effects for us.
